DevOps Intern

About the Role

Support MVP launch, setup CI/CD pipeline, configure cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerize applications with Docker/Kubernetes, write Terraform templates, and implement uptime/performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support MVP launch and continuous deployment strategies across staging and production environments.
  • Setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or related automation tools.
  • Configure and monitor cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Containerize services and applications with Docker and Kubernetes for consistent deployment.
  • Write modular Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Implement real-time uptime, health check, latency alerts, and performance monitoring.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments, command line tools, and server administration.
  • Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative branching workflows.
  • Practical scripting experience with Bash/Shell or Python.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Hands-on familiarity with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Knowledge of foundational cloud architectures (AWS, Google Cloud, or Cloudflare).
  • Understanding of web security, SSL/TLS certificates, and reverse proxies (Nginx).

Experience Level

Open to students, recent graduates, or self-taught builders with demonstrable project experience in DevOps or Cloud engineering.
