Grantwriter

About the Role

Write persuasive grant proposals, respond to government RFPs, and draft applications for patented SaaS ventures to unlock non-dilutive startup funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Research applicable government grants, innovation awards, and non-dilutive startup funding programs.
• Draft comprehensive, compelling grant narratives, financial justifications, and technical summaries.
• Manage submission timelines, compliance criteria, and RFP documentation requirements.
• Follow up on grant evaluations and coordinate reporting for awarded grants.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior startup grant writing or proposal submission experience with demonstrable wins.
• Outstanding narrative, research, and technical copywriting capabilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict institutional guidelines.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SBIR/STTR grants, regional economic development funds, or innovation prize competitions.
• Knowledge of tech, software, or e-commerce patent and IP terminologies.

Experience Level

Track record of successfully funded grant applications for technology startups or research organizations.
